I will NEVER shop at this store anymore. I bought a bed from the Garner Badcock a few months ago. When I got the bed, the installers drilled nails in the wrong place on the bed rails causing the wood to split. It took some time for the rail to be replaced but it was replaced with an even defective rail. I sat in my bed because that's what they are made to do and the rail broke. I called the Garner store and kept getting excuses and the run around. I made it known to the manager that the wood is defective and that it wasn't able or strong enough to hold the big box spring and mattress. I requested to exchange the bed for a better quality bed at the same price or even cheaper than what I spent. The manager said that I couldn't exchange because the item wasn't defective. I explained that this was the second time that the rails were replaced. I explained to him what happened to the bed, as I stated above, and he said for in order for the bed to be defective, it had to fall apart on its own. Now why would I pay for a bed just to not use it. The bed is poor in quality. I have tried and tried to set up appointments since two weeks ago to have someone replaced the rail since I was told that I couldn't replace the bed. I haven't received not one call back to this day. I should've taken my business to a better, more professional store. The next time I will know better.
I went in this store back in August and I was looking for furniture to furnish my house. I spoke with the manager Dakota, I got his card and told him I would be back. I went back into this store today and I was deeply disturbed. This is the WORST STORE I have ever seen in my LIFE. It's nothing like it was two months ago! The associates did not even approach me or speak to me! I would suggest NEVER shopping in this store! It's true, a stores atmosphere changes with management! You lost a good manager!
The store has definitely improved a whole lot, and I truly love the wide variety of furniture that the store provides. All furniture that I have purchased from this store has always been top quality and the staff was always more than happy to help me find exactly what I was looking for, which is a huge plus. I've also come in contact with Dakota, who is the store manager. He seems to be a very resourceful manager and he's doing a great job overall. I highly recommend Badcock Furniture! Great quality furniture for great prices.
New manager, Dakota, is great and will do all he can to resolve your issue. The sales people need to be trained to be honest and less of a salesperson. They added insurance and other things onto my bill without asking my permission, but Dakota quickly took it off. The furniture we bought is great. I would shop here again.
This is the worst furniture store to buy from, especially if delivery is involved. Delivery of items in stock could take up to 6 weeks. I've purchased furniture before and never had the nightmare I have gotten by buying from Badcock in Garner, NC. I'm not sure it it's just this store or other Badcock locations. I ended up requesting a refund for bunk beds. The quality of the furniture in the store looked good. It's just how this store is operating. My suggestions is buy elsewhere. its not worth the wasted time and energy.
