Great customer service during a recent visit to purchase grass seed. They were out of the particular seed I wanted, but they went out of their way to call their supplier (which does not sell to the public) and arrange for me to pick it up just down the road in 10 minutes.

Sold me vaccines in September that had expired in February. When I returned them they put them back in the fridge to resell them. It was nice place to shop and close to home but employees should be checking expiration dates and getting rid of expired items. Buyer beware check your expiration dates on everything from there.
I'm so surprised to see so many negative reviews and ratings for Hudsons. Anytime I have ever gone to the store the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful
Nice enough folks and I like seeing a small, local business survive in the midst of a Lowes and Home Depot come to town. Long and short is two things: Held on hold for 32 minutes when I was told the young lady would go and ask one of the mower repair fellas about my mowers walk behind feature. I was pretty surprised no one picked up that line and I know it's pretty close quarters there. I don't know how the young lady could not have known to get back with me on what was her idea in the first place..to go ask a question and then get back with me. Second, picked up mower and it doesn't run right. It cranks but it doesn't...don't know the word...rev up enough to be able to really use...RPM's I think. It has a spit/sputter nature and kinda jerks left and right..I'm not an engine guy...I just know it's not right and it's not powerful enough to cut grass with. To me, it's so obvious that I don't understand how the techs couldn't see it. They're nice enough up there but my impression is they do a lot of talkin' and jokin' around. I'm not taking the mower back...I'll start fresh elsewhere. I consider it a $64 and change lesson. As weak as the mower is running...something isn't right up there.
